| Description : | Program will include works of Chopin that caress the ear and point the way to the future as well as compositions of later composers that were inspired by him; the Homage to Chopin of Tchaikovsky, the poetic and fiery Etudes of Scriabin, the humorous Etude for the Five fingers of Debussy, the colorful Mazurkas of Szymanowski, and the melodic Nocturne by the American composer Lowell Lieberman.
